Easy...... (Once season opens) I'll put on a silver blade and purple bucktail..... Mepps Musky Killer.
It has always been my go-to bait up around Wiley Point on LOW each June. Right after that however is the Black Fury in Chartreusse and black bucktail.

Suicks are under rated early season lures imo. I'll start out with gliders and twitch baits and throw in some bucktails to see what turns their cranks.

Pretty commonly the first bait of the year will be a walleye color Hardhead - 8 oz size. I don't often "downsize" baits, even early in the year and pretty much use what I use all year right off the bat. The exception is I haven't had a lot of luck on big double blades early in the year, but I've heard of it working.
