| Anybody from Ohio that can tell me what I am going to be working with in the Athens area? I am moving there in June. I have not found a ton of info. Just hoping there are a few decent lakes around.

| Allum creek 2 hours north, cave run a couple hours south are probably the best. Salt fork, clear fork, and pymatuning reservoirs all are also stocked with musky |

Location: West Chester, OH | You'll be driving (sanely) a minimum of 2 hours to get anywhere. In addition to those already mentioned, Piedmont, Leesville & Caesar Creek are a 2-2.5 hour ride from Athens.
Looking for a project? East Fork has been stocked annually since '08 but only a few incidental catches reported. Find the pattern & become a local hero!
Several of Ohio's Lakes are hobbled by the odious 10 HP limit. Clear Fork has a low, & strictly enforced, speed limit but I prefer it to the HP limit.
There are also a few options - lakes & rivers - over in West-By-God-Virginia within 2.5 hours drive.
Welcome to Ohio & good luck!
