Hey guys

Wondering if anyone has any advice for the boy River. The idea jumped out at me several times on my drive from duluth to detroit lakes when you cross the boy River. My brother and I are pretty big paddlers and we have caught Muskies in both canoes and kayaks, and we thought the boy may be a great spot to try this summer for a good paddle at least and maybe some fish before we got to dl.

Any advice would be appreciated

Pat

It's a nice paddle but I don't think it supports much of a summer population. I could be wrong though.

Haven't fished the river, but I have fished boy lake itself and had good luck near where the river enters the lake. One memorable fish there followed right before a nasty freak storm broke out. Fish was under 40 inches and probably in the low 20's in terms of girth. She was shaped so oddly with a girth like that I thought a carp followed my bucktail!
