I am looking for a pink reel for my girlfriend's set up. I was able to get a TI pink rod, but I am having a heck of a time locating a reel. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help

Have someone powdercoat or custom paint any reel. I have never seen a pink muskie reel.

My wife bought a purple Abu Garcia 6500C4 reel as her "starter" reel. Maybe they still have a few?

x2. this would be the best bet. I was thinking of having my NACL powdercoated something crazy and bright.

For a cheaper finish, plastidip? Look it up. Its pretty awesome. I have used plastidip and the stuff is TOUGH. I did the whole tunnel on my F7 and it held up after a whole seasons abuse.

The Avet's a great reel, but no level-wind which would probably be a deal breaker.

(A pink rod and reel in your boat, eh? Man, you must really be in love!)

Thanks for the replies. Think I'll have to go the powdercoat route. Between her bow, guns and all of her fishing equipment I better not let a reel that's not pink get in there. Anyone ever get a reel camo dipped? She's a big fan on the muddy girl camo.

Wrap it! - find a place that does car wraps
Could be as simple as just doing the side plates in her favorite shade of pink

Abu Garcia made some pink 6500's for a short time. 6500KCP. Not easy to find though. I was trying to find one for my gf a while back, but the only one I found on ebay was $200, and I wasn't giving that. Powdercoat or dipping will probably be the best bet.

Ive seen Ming Yang reels in pink,I don't know anything about them but they look like ABU 5500 and 6500,and are pretty inexpensive.Im guessing they are inexpensive for a reason, but you never know.
