I may be trying to fish Kinkaid on the way home from Chicago April 19th and need some guide recommendations. All I can find are Simms and Chad Cain, who's no longer guiding. If anyone wants to take a poor Arkansas boy needing a musky fix out that would be much appreciated too. Thanks!

As previous posters have said, hands down Scott Donovan. Give him a call, you won't be disappointed. Excellent fisherman and a super nice guy who is fun to fish with. Knows Kinkaid inside and out.

Location: Southern Illinois | Yep, Scott Donovan. You won't be disappointed. Not only does he sack them up but is truly one of the nicest guys I know. Check out Shawnee Expeditions website or on Facebook to see some of his recent catches. |

Walt Krause is an excellent Kinkaid guide! I fished with Chad for years and would say Walt is equally good. Friend and I put 2 in the boat with hime the 1st day Kinkaid was free of ice.

I didn't see Walt's name when I looked. I am set up with Scott for the 19th, which happens to be the New Moon. I'm glad I'm finally able to make it over there. It's the closest musky lake to me in Little Rock and will be where I end up fishing the most when I get set up with a boat, hopefully soon! Thanks for the help guys.
