Location: Appleton, WI | Was thinking about checking out the Nokomis Chain (Rice Reservoir) Was wondering if anyone has fished here and if so have you had any success?

Location: one foot over the line | My cabin is not too far from there. I have fished it for around a total of 15 hours. I have yet to see one next to my boat. I did see a guy stick one off in the distance. Looking forward to spending some more time out there with some better electronics. Pretty fair size body of water and I feel as though I'm getting closer to sealing a deal out there. From what I have gathered, there is certainly not a large population in there, however, I think she could cough up a big one. I have found some decent looking structure but i think i need to break it down a little further. |

Location: Stevens Point, Wi. | Low density but I have seen some good sized ones. It's worth a try or two. There can be issues with water levels and thus navigation problems because it gets drawn down pretty low in dry years. Not ideal for waterfront property owners as they often have piers many yards from the water. |
