A great swimbait is the Waterwolf Lures Shadzilla 9 inch version. Great action and I have quite a bit of success casting over points and rock humps.

I have a bunch of 6.5 in swimbaits I figured I'd give some of them a try,and got weighted 9/0 swimbait hooks and can rig up a treble hook off the back. I guess I won't know until I try.

If you consider Medussas a swim bait I would put that on the top of the list. Its my favorite lure to use from opener till ice out... all of the different sizes allow you to really adapt to any situation, and you can work the bait in a number of different presentations. In my opinion, its the best bait on the market

Check these out! Haven't boated a fish with one yet but have come close on multiple occasions.

Fat az musky products makes an awesome swimbait, the hooks are positioned At an angle , resulting in better hook sets
