Posts: 1220 | At least 7-10 of the guys use portables. There are times when it's no good, but you can usually get a judge by cell too. I had a big antenae 3 boats ago, but I used to cast my baits into it about 3 times a day

Posts: 1316 Location: Lebanon,Mo | Bought one of these for myself for IMTT this year. Still have several left at the Bass Pro Outlet located in Springfield,Mo. They may also ship as well. Seems like a good quality, heavy radio marked down to 49.00 from orginal price of 119.00 Attachments ---------------- pic2.jpg (146KB - 251 downloads)

Posts: 1220 | Had one of those, worked fine but you have to keep track of the battery. At first, you'll charge the thing and three months later it's still fine. Two years later you'll charge it, think it's fine, and it won't last the tournament or a day. Charging indicator won't help you know. For fifty bucks, use it two years and discard. Personally, I only keep trolling motor batteries two years.
