The consensus is a 7'6" mh rod for the baby's as a h or xh is to stiff for them. Anyone use a 9' mh to make them dance?

I have a hard time using an 8' for jerks and gliders with out slapping the s#$* out of the water, i couldn't even imagine using a 9footer.
