My gps is not going to the navionics chip. Just going to the factory crap map. I have it set for the chip and the unit seams to be fine otherwise. Anybody have this problem? A solution? Was working fine in NJ and NY but when I came home it no longer works in NJ. It`s an Eagle unit.

Q-tip soaked in alcohol. rub it on the gold contacts in the unit and chip.

Use denatured rubbing alcohol.

My lowrance chip does this. I had to buy a micro sd adapter because the one they shipped wouldn't work.
