Any opinions out there on new Lowrance Insight mapping? I have been using my older Lakemaster chips (09) which have great detail for most lakes. Just wondering if the new stuff is similar, better?

This past summer I had my Lowrance Insight and a friend brought along two other match chips he had so we could put those in another unit right alongside and compare them on the water. We ended up putting the map chips away and staying with the insight because there was no discernible difference.

Don't know much about Lakemaster, but I have both Navionics and Lowrance Insight. I find I need both.

Some of the lakes I fish are not as detailed on Navionics, but are better detailed on Lowrance Insight and visa versa. I personally think Insight could scale back on the size of the depth sounding numbers on their maps. They stand out a little too much compared to the Navionics.
