I was always under the assumption evinrude was poor quality like dodge as that is the narrative online. Feel bad for the employees, aren't they going to be manufacturing something else though?
The parent company made a vague statement that they would transition to something else, but no specifics. Under WI law they must notify the state 60 days ahead of time if 50 or more employees are to be laid off and the story I read said that had not yet been done. They could build snowmobiles, atv/utv engines. Just sad that a company with such a rich history is gone. |
