No need for two batteries but unless you were happy With how long the current battery lasted don't replace with the same. A batteries plus store, x2 agm in size 31 will run your setup like 4 days straight. Haha

Be careful. It takes nearly ~ 12 Vdc to start an outboard, but only ~ 9 Vdc to run fish finders, trolling motors, misc electronics. So if not recharged long enough by the outboards generator the electronics can run the battery down to low to start the outboard. Just a note of caution is all. BTW I've has great luck with Interstate deep cycle batteries and the price is right.
