I have a 2000 merc 200 efi. I bought it 3 years ago and haven't had one issue yet. I don't use the oil injection disabled that and mix my own oil and gas that way I know 100% sure its getting right amount. Use high quality oil I use Amsoil synthetic and can troll the big 2 stroke all day long no problem and no plug fouling. I am very impressed with this motor runs super strong. keep fresh lower unit oil in it and mix high quality 2 stroke oil and they will last forever!! They are thirsty though
