I ran a older 17ft Lowe with a 9.9 4 stroke kicker that the dealer said would be to much weight in the back. I rolled the dice on it and fished that boat for 12 yrs with no problems. I had a 115 E-tech, the kicker and 3 batteries and my partner in the stern. We had no issues. Oh and the boat fished Lake Erie too.
