I have a 20' fiberglass tiller. I currently have the Ulterra mounted up front. My previous boats I had cable foot pedals for steering. I'm having a hard time adjusting to the remote or the foot pedal on the Ulterra for steering. Seems slow and I don't like messing with the remote.

Does it sound crazy to want to dump the Ulterra? The motor has been flawless and works great. I'm leaning towards casting more this year for Muskie, Pike and Bass and am yearning for the old days of my foot pedal.

Am I crazy?

Opinions?

Thank you.
