Hiya!!

I'd go rug doctor with the attachment. Power washers are just that... very powerful and can potentially damage your carpet. Plus, that is a lot of water to drain and it gets into every space it can find. This promotes mildew growth if not completely dried out.

With the rug doctor, you at least are extracting the dirty stuff, which promotes a shorter drying time, no extra water in places you cannot reach, etc...
