My experience with Die Hard (automotive only) Platinum and Gold Batteries:

First one was in 3 different cars. Still going at 9 years old when I sold the car. Still held a charge with the car sitting for a month.

#2 made it 7 years.
#3 and #4 are still going strong after 5 and 7 years.
