Ok. In that case I think I would get some 3/4 inch marine plywood along with some angle iron. Cut the plywood the size you want the deck with the sides and back to sit on the top of the storage box lip front and back. Angle iron in front edge the width of deck up to the storage boxes and two under to reinforce the deck. Carpet to match along with a couple ranger deck locks and your done. I think those decks were about 30-36 inch those years.
