Subject: RE: Anybody fish muskies out of a Pontoon?

Location: Green Bay, WI
I did once, and I actually saw someone doing that in Green Bay about 8-10 years ago. The one I was in had a canopy/top on it, so it would not have been easy to move around with a fish (didn't catch anything on it...story of my life). The one I saw on Green Bay had a couple guys on it, and they were trolling. But they didn't have a top as I recall--so it would be pretty easy to move around on the boat, and leaning over the rail to figure-8 a fish would be a breeze.

I say go for it!

PS: I was in my local Lund dealer's showroom a few weeks ago, checking out boats. There was a pontoon boat there with TWO 350hp Verados on the thing. So 700hp on that bad boy. Now THAT's A musky barge! You and about 12 of your closet friends, all casting for ski's on the bay of Green Bay.
