Location: Vilas County, WI | I bought a 2017 Impact 1775 back in September. I asked my salesman if there's a way I can fit longer than 8' rods in the locker. He replied with a sneaky 'yeeeeep' but wouldn't tell me how. It was an awkward conversation.
Anyhow, so apparently yes it can be done... but I don't know how.
I saw on another forum that you can take the caps off the rod tubes in the center locker to gain a few inches. But my goal is to fit 8'6" or even a 9' rod in the side locker. Hopefully someone will reply who knows some tricks. |
