Location: Madison, WI		Same reason I got rid of my elite 7. Would not load maps fast enough to use while driving. I switched to Birds and run a helix 9 and 859 now and have zero issues. If you want to stay with your Lowrance wiring (assuming you have blue connectors) I'd go HDS for sure! Also not sure about the 9, but my 7 only ran micro sd cards so your chip may not work anyways.
