I have an 899 and love it. These units are on sale now at huge discounts. It picks up a 1/2 ounce jig and lake trout beautifully in 80-110' of water and the SI is great. I have seen 999 u its for 1000$ Canadian lately. Do not hesitate to scoop one of these units u as they are a great bang for the buck. They do not have chirp.
