Location: Hayward, WI		You would need a service manual at the very least. You probably are not going to save all that much trying to do it your self. The majority of the expense is going to come from parts and having a machine shop work on the crank, block and head, which you are still going to have to get done. That is if any of those parts are salvageable, it really depends on what actually failed.
