Have you checked the inline fuse(s) for your charger? The fuses inbetween the charger and the battery? I had one blow once and it gave me a red light like it was charging, but only for about 10 secs. If I looked at it right away it looked like it was charging, but it wasn't. After 10 secs, it showed green, but the battery hadn't gotten charged. Popped in a new fuse and all is well.
