Wiring issues shouldn't cause a bulb to blow. They should cause the bulb to now work or the tow vehicle to blow a fuse. Moisture is usually what causes bulbs to blow.


Agree. if you are blowing bulbs, you are getting water in you light fixture.

I'd replace the units with new LED style.
