M Winther - 12/19/2014 7:49 AM competition is good for consumers. this?
What makes you think these brands will not compete?

When one company owns 70% of a market segment, competition is reduced. The Feds just disallowed a purchase that would have created a similar ownership percentage in the beer industry for competitive reasons. This isn't boating or even fishing boats, just bass boats so it's not a whole industry; that said, it's worth wondering about possible impacts on consumers (such as higher prices), and not just how wonderful it is for BPS.
