Is your 4-stroke injected or carbed? If carbed, go ahead. If injected, I would not, as you run the risk of clogging the injectors.

Putting oil in the cylinder does nothing, but create a puddle of oil that will likely foul your plugs next spring on first start.

Run Stabil or your preferred brand of fuel stabilizing product through the motor, check/replace fuel filter/water separator, check the lower unit for water, repair seal if required, replace lower unit lube, check/repack you trailer wheel bearings, and plug in your onboard charger. You'll be good to go next spring.


What Shep said. I prefer Seafoam as a fuel stab. in any and all my engines but that's just me.
