I fish decently big water and have fished in pretty rough conditions (windy Leech Lake) out of a 1860, we extended the back casting deck and can fish 3 pretty well in most fishable conditions. I think (though I could be wrong) the Reata has the a shortened front casting deck, it looks like they move the console more towards the front, which is less ideal when running across larger rollers/crashers.
