They say a good musky platform is one that gets you close to the water. I'd say you've got that covered.
My first suggestion would be to invest in a drain plug.
Oh and I believe the battery should be IN the boat and hooked up to something, like maybe your bilge pump.
If all else fails, Cabela's has a pretty good deal going on waders.
I'd pick up some crampons for when the weather gets cold. Might be slippery in there after a few cold nights.
