Location: Minnesota | You should check out the drama on Fishing Minnesota and other forums that are playing out right now. The masses are becoming aware of this new requirement because of the MN DNR booth at the State Fair.
Because someone disagrees with this new sticker requirement it doesn't imply that they don't care about our lakes or AIS.
Personally, I think this sticker is silly. The people that truly care about our waters are already doing what they can to prevent AIS. These new efforts are aimed at the rest of the people who may not ever do anything to prevent the spread of AIS no matter what the fine is or how much education there is. The conscientious people out there aren't the problem but they will be asked to jump through yet another hoop because of the others who could care less. |
