There have been a lot of changes in battery manufacturing over the past few years and many brands have suffered a drop in quality - watch warranties! I paid a lot of money for a pair of Cabela's AGM batteries and they only lasted two seasons. Took care of them on a good 2 amp charger; never let them get low. Reading their customer reviews, it seems that what was a good product has fallen in quality and my experience was common.
Replaced them, at the advice of my dealer's mechanic, with a pair of lead-acid 31 series. Good luck!
