Hi Rob, No you do not have to worry about any leakage of voltage back to your boats electronics The AC voltage enters the charger and then is converted to DC Voltage that varies between 12.8 to 14.5 volts.... Normally all your battery voltages are shut off to your boats electronics when the key is turned in the off position..... Mike Melfa Sr.
