Location: MN | Anyone know if the gas at BP and Holiday stations in MN Twin Cities have ethanol? I run an old Evinrude 2-stroke VRO from 1990, and last year the engine would occasionally die after I started it and kicked it into gear... this would occur throughout the day. I have been using 91 octane gas from the local BP and Holiday stations in the Lake Minnetonka area, always wondered if there was something funny with the gas which was causing this problem. I know the BP station markets their gas with "invigorate" in it. This was my first summer with this engine, so no prior experience to compare performance. | |
