jlb66 nice idea on the electrical staple. Turns out in my instance, I was able to return the terrova and get the universal sonar. Thank god for that and I should have done more research before getting the one without the universal sonar, I just assumed it would work like the older models did. I think your idea would work and I would have definately used it if not for the return. I thought about somehow mouting an eye bolt somewhere and using that to "guide" the wire.
