Hummmmmm...I was wondering that same thing when I saw the design of the terrova...same with the powerdrive v2. But I'm guessing there's a solution...just might take some imagination. You could easily make some sort of guide that mounts on the shaft (that's what she said). That way the wire is held out and way from the base of the motor, and will keep it more "in place" so to speak. How pretty it looks will depend on how much you care to make it look pretty.
