Subject: RE: Tire Pressure

i've learned about tire pressure the hard (and expensive) way the last two years.
i run 175 80R13s as well.

i started out last year overinflated. way overinflated...first long trip = bulged both tires, one eventually blew.
dropped my tire pressure down to 35psi and things were right as rain the rest of the year.

i did some modifications to the boat this year that added weight in the back and made the tires "look" low.
running at 35psi this year was underinflated...first long trip = bulged a tire.

i'm going to plus them up to about 45psi and see how they run.
