All tires carry their maximum weight capacity at maximum recomended air pressure. Tires run the coolest (less possible heat damage) at maximum air pressure & suffer the least damage from impact (chuck holes, etc) when inflated to the max. You will always get the best possible service from your tires if you inflate them to the max pressure when cold. Its a no brainer. The only down side to max pressure is a slightly stiffer ride but not an issue on a boat trailer.
