Pretty sure the only way you'll get 3 batteries in the rod locker is to move the onboard charger, which should be manageable. 15" to the top of jump seats. No idea on RPM, never pay attention to that kind of stuff. There is a "splash pan" that covers the ladder and is usually standard on the other side. There is a Lund Adventure facebook group you should check out, pretty active and good folks there.
