Ex wife owned a Ford Ranger that was flex fuel compatible... We tried it a few times and found in a given two week window, she would fill up 3 times with E85 as compared to 2 times with E10 unleaded. By the time it was all done, there was no cost savings...essentially a wash, even though E85 was significantly cheaper. The savings were eaten up in the extra tank of gas...
