Check out the transom savers from Panther. I got 1 that has an adjustable length. To Glaucus: tell my friend who is getting the transom replaced on his Lund. His Verado 225 (boat is rated for 250HP) has bent the transom bad enough it needs to be replaced. And that's just from sitting in the garage without a transom saver. I would never have a boat without one. All those block things do is take the pressure off of the trim/tilt unit.
