If its a down imaging model, its not compatible with the US2.
The down imaging won't work with the US2 on the Terrova, but the will return regular sonar just fine.
But I agree, sounds like electrical interference>> call customer support
The DI uses a different transducer than the us2. If you run just 2d off your DI unit attached by us2 it will not work as well. I have been there done that. Bought myself a hummingbird 2d sonar and it works perfectly with the us2.
