Well, got more snow yesterday, not a lot, just enough to remind me that open water is still a ways off. I'm going mildly nuts this winter waiting for it to end. That's kind of weird for me since I normally like winter so much. Ice fishing has even lost nearly all of it's appeal for me this year.
It's supposed to warm up again and for the next 2 weeks warmer than normal even. We'll see - the forecasters out here can't even seem to get yesterday's weather right....I've never seen such a bunch miss forecasts so consistently. And so unapologetically.
Got a package of stuff from lambeau on Friday and contained within was a 6" jointed Believer; it'll get bit. I got a couple of packages this winter of 'must trys' from friends. I can't wait to send them some pictures back!

I agree. Winter is getting old and ice fishing is losing its luster. My next hobby in the next couple of weeks will be watching snow melt. Heading to the musky expo in Blain on saturday. That should help give me a little fix though. Couple new baits anyways! In the mean time, hang tough. We'll be casting before we know it!
