This isn't a musky reel but could you check out a Shimano Curado 201HG for me? I use it for blade baits/rattlebaits/swimbaits up in Door Co. and half of the time when I'm reeling it clicks a little. I think the gears are going.

Send it ASAP
I don’t Stock Left Hand Reel Parts so it may take a while to get parts

Pikemaster,
I have a Revo Toro HS that won't reel line in. Worn out gear I am thinking. Whats the process to get repaired? Also would like to have fully serviced.

I'd like to get my reels serviced; Revo Toro S50, S51, S60, and S61.
Any option to upgrade the S60/S61 to help with double 10's? Please PM me a price for just service or with upgrades. Thanks

Pikemaster,

Can you PM me with what it would cost (roughly) to send you two reels.

Revo Toro NaCl 5.4:1... cleaned and service. The lock nut to keep the power handle on needs to be replaced. And it has engaged on the cast 5-6 times. So I am just assuming something will need to be fixed there?

And a Shimano 400b ....cleaned and servied. And I want to add a power handle to make it better for handling bucktails. Nothing wrong other than that.

Hey Richard, what’s the highest speed replacement gearing you can put in the original revo toro winch 60? You swapped out one of mine for 5.4 gearing this past winter and I can across another winch for cheap that I bought. Can you get 6.3 or 5.8/1? Thank you!

What’s the turnaround for you right now if I send the reel? Do you know the cost to replace gearing and do the supertune, I could just send the check with reel.

FYI
I’m seeing a lot of reels that have the Braid tied to the Spool without mono backing or
Tape on the spool.
Braid line will slip on the spool without mono backing or tape on the spool first !
PM me if you have any ???

Need some advice from an expert. Bought a tranx 400a in the off season. Used it probably 5 times, it is my new favorite. This weekend, the level wind got stuck in the far right position bunching the line up on that side. After fishing I loosened the little screw moved the guide and tightened it back up. Seems fine now. Heading for canada soon and am concerned that this will keep happening. Never had this before with any reel. Should I send it in while its under warranty, or is this just kind of a one off issue? Thanks for your input.

For those who have attempted to reach out to Richard in the days and now weeks after his September 14th post stating he's caught up...the reason Richard hasn't returned your calls or emails is because he suffered a massive stroke on the 14th. The situation according to his wife, is grim. Any reels that he currently has will be returned and any reels that are in transit will be returned to sender.

Please keep Richard and his family in your prayers and I will update people when I hear more.
