I thought of calling them "Little Swimmers" but I believe that is the name of a diaper, therefore I didn't want to associate my lures with crap If anyone has any tips on taking pictures that would be great, as I can never get mine to come out too well.

Those are awesome Nate. Are these also made from wood? If so I'm curious about where the pins run through the screw eyes. It seems there wouldn't be a lot of strength in that area. This isn't a criticism, I'm sincerely curious because I have some customers asking for smaller swimbaits and I can't really do them with the hinges I use on the bigger ones.

Thanks for the compliments. Do you think there would be any type of small scale market for something like this? From the guys that sell their baits how do you go about setting a price?

Snax the bait is made out of wood. I was skeptical as well when I first tried this method for a joint so I made sure to test it as best I could. This involved a nail, floor joist, and me. The screw eye was the first thing to bend out, so after that I figure its strong enough.

Wow Nate, I'm glad to hear how strong the joints are. I may have to use that method on the smaller ones. As for a market for them you should have NO trouble selling as many of those babies as you can make! I'd aim for the Bass market personally.
As for price, check out your competition and figure out where your baits fit in quality wise and bear in mind that your baits will be an unknown to the consumers still. Once you get a few good reviews you can rethink the prices if need be.

If those are more than 5 or 6 inches long from stem to stern, the muskies will smash them too.

Great work, great paint.

The more times I see that photo of them the more my jaw drops. I can picture the actions in my head based on the body shapes and in my head they look gooooood!!!

Nate, nice looking baits. I was wondering if you had a sucker style around 8" or 9" long. If so, maybe I can take one off your hands. Also, I keep waiting for an oppurtunity to get a look at the Lambulges as well. Great looking baits again. Its easy to tell you put a lot of work into them.

Take your pics outdoors on a cloudy day, you'll get great light but not so bright that there are hot spots on the baits.

Great looking baits BTW.

Great baits as always. I believe we will be killing em' shortly

Will is right about taking pictures outside. Cloudy or sunny is fine...any natural light is good light as long as the camera isn't pointing at the sun. Do not use flash and use the macro setting if necessary(little flower symbol)
