Anyone ever try cleaning an IAC valve for Mercury outboard instead of replacing it?
If so how?

Just replace it. Know issues with them. Check if possibly warranty, was a recall on some of them.

Missed the recall but having the same issues, go figure! Seems to be out of stock. Need a short term fix, seems that I should be able to clean it till the new one arrives.
