Posts: 32785 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | What happened out on the water last weekend? We left AML Saturday so I didn't fish the weekend, our trip up there was fun with muskie action and pike OK, but behind schedule, as the water was still in the 50s on much of the lake. Frank got a monster last year, and got this one while we were there on a Depth Raider. Slamr got a few muskies, too. Posts: 617 Location: Clintonville, WI | Just outside of Minocqua last Friday through Sunday. 6 guys fishing on Friday caught four on suckers 38" - 45", with a few pike being stupid on Suicks and Phantoms. 8 guys fishing on Saturday got blanked (with a few pike still making an appearance). Weather got warm and bright shutting things down. Water temps up three degrees from Friday. The one window in mid-afternoon I missed our shot at a nice fish on a sucker. Text book all the way from a Jaws bobber down to following the fish, getting in position, getting the fish to move away and then......poof, only scales when setting the hook. 3 guys fishing on Sunday got a 38" on a sucker in 15 mph winds, gusting to 20-25. Fished some good stuff but I think still water temps still messing with the bite.

Posts: 20178 Location: oswego, il | Stayed in the Manitowish Waters area from Thursday to Saturday for the Fox River Valley Muskies Inc Suckerfest outing. We went 6 for 11 on suckers and lures along with 2 pike. 9 of us in total and the group caught 13 musky. The three biggest were all 40" and out of the 13 three were tigers! Water was 47-49 so lures were still working well. Suckers still took the majority. Posts: 1179 | Had a lot of irons in the fire as of late so talked to my brother in law and hoping to get out for part of day shore fishing. It was 80 in the front range last weekend 40's today and 50's tomorrow snow on Thursday. We yet to have our first snow in Denver,( Average first snow 18 October) and lots of years snow in Sept. record late for first snow 21 Nov. I've been here 30 years and this is as late as I seen it. It's been dry and we had rain or even snow shower and did not stick not even on the grass. We want to get a day in before he starts cancer treatment next week. Be fishing for Trout, Lakers, and Tigers.

Posts: 4080 Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion | Past November experience Kirby.. and the fish are pretty predictable this time of year. It also helps that I fish spots that most people don't this time of yr.

Enough pain for one year.

Location: Athens, Ohio | Cave Run Sunday afternoon, Monday, and Tuesday morning. Got 4 good head shakes off one the first hour I arrived, got a 34 later Sunday. NOTHING moving yesterday, and today I had one boil on a Pacemaker, and another jump over my jerkbait. Three beautiful days on the Cave and time to catch up with some old friends. m

Posts: 32785 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Anthing from this last weekend? We are up at deer camp bow hunting and then rifle. The local lakes are skimmed over with ice, and will probably freeze over the next few days enough to not want to try to break the ise.

Time to start looking for where I carefully stored my ice fishing gear last spring. Be a while before I can use it.

Posts: 246 | Got out Saturday, we got (2) and lost (3). We had 4o degree water temperature. Nothing big but it was fun to have that much action. Fish were on both glide baits and suckers. Steve

Posts: 20178 Location: oswego, il | Caught a nice smallmouth and a bunch of carp on the Illinois river. I've had Buffalo eat musky baits even gliders but I've never seen Asian and grass carp eat crankbaits before. They did yesterday.
