Screw eyes or thru wire in 10" or larger baits? The info I searched was 10 years old and maybe new thoughts on this subject. Plus some of the materials have changed.

id say thru wire ultimately...but man ive caught enough fish on screw eyes id never be afraid to use. i make all test baits with screw eyes until i get the hook placement and the bait to work the way i want then build final product thru wire if possible. always keeping in mind a plan to make it thru wire if that makes sense
