morning all, just purchased one of these Talons and wondering if anyone knows a way to secure or lock it to my boat so it doesnt run off? i see they used to offer security nut kits, but they apparently dont anymore..

seems like it would be pretty easy to just loosen the bolts and remove it.. so im concerned for our cross country vacations/hotel stops, etc...

thanks

I don't think it is a high theft deal. I have a theft paranoia and I wasn't worried about mine.

Can you still get the folding bracket and put it under your cover? Out of sight out of mind is my thought. I take all my gear in the room when staying in a hotel/motel/resort.

i actually did put one of those on so i could get my boat in and out of the garage, but it wont fit under my cover unfortunately...

Well if you think you're going to leave the Talon on for a long time, like until you buy another boat, stick it on with some 5200.

that takes care of the brackets not being removed, but the Talon can still be unbolted..
