Posts: 512 | morning all, just purchased one of these Talons and wondering if anyone knows a way to secure or lock it to my boat so it doesnt run off? i see they used to offer security nut kits, but they apparently dont anymore.. seems like it would be pretty easy to just loosen the bolts and remove it.. so im concerned for our cross country vacations/hotel stops, etc... thanks Dave

Posts: 1209 | I don't think it is a high theft deal. I have a theft paranoia and I wasn't worried about mine.

Posts: 1675 Location: Mt. Zion, IL | Can you still get the folding bracket and put it under your cover? Out of sight out of mind is my thought. I take all my gear in the room when staying in a hotel/motel/resort.
