Last summer I had tails fall off several hell hounds for no apparent reason. What are you guys using to put replacement tails on?

Super glue is how soft tails are attached to hard baits.

Been there and tried multiple super glues only to have the tails fall off again. I've tried Super Glue, Loctite and Fisherman's Glue. I have scraped the surface of the bait. All no luck. I've had two buddies try on these baits coming up with the same problem, tails won't stick. I'm at a loss.

clean the tail of the bait with acetone first.

Super Glue brand says not to use in water. I've used Krazy Glue on tails for years with no problem They make mini-tubes that have just the right amount. A quick rub with sandpaper first does help in the prep process. m

If that doesn't work put a screw eye in the tail. Get it straight. That will help keep the tail on.

I Use this product- i just copied over the marketing statement about it. Can get it on Team Rhino site for $12... It's the accelerator that makes it work really well in my opinion!

Hawg Seekers Tackle Ultimate Instant Glue System/ This is the Ultimate Instant Glue System from Hawg Seekers Tackle. It's a quick option to replace tails and fix broken baits. When using the glue and accelerator the bond will setup in 8 seconds.

I drill a hole and glue in a small piece of bucktail shaft sticking out the rear of the bait. Then I attach the tail with gorilla glue. They stay on very well this way.
